Here’s little Baby Del at four months. He’s so excellent now at communication, but just can’t seem to decide what he wants!
So funny! Do you think it has to past the taste test or how well it fits into his mouth to determine whether or not it goes on the floor?
The fact that he communicates his needs is interesting, he lets you know he can’t reach it or he wants a replacement.

It is funny isn’t it? My baby development books (The Baby Book and The First Three Years) say that babies enter a stage where they’re interested in dropping things, I believe it has something to do with the development of “object permanence.” So I guess it’s his inner drive to put things in his mouth fighting with his drive to drop them on the floor, duking it out!
